Shop Foreman
Job Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive maintenance or a related field preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and processes
- Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and to stand, bend and kneel for extended periods of time
Experience / Attributes Preferred:
- ASE Certifications
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
- 5 + years of automotive technician experience preferred
Tasks:
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow, quality repairs and exceptional customer service
- Supervise automotive technicians and maintaining high standards of performance and professionalism
- Monitor the quality of vehicle inspections to ensure adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Review repair orders, technical documents and service manuals to ensure accurate diagnoses, repair procedures and compliance
- Address customer concerns or complaints regarding service quality and taking corrective action as necessary
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of automotive equipment, tools and facilities.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts, tools and equipment to ensure a timely and cost effective process
