Estimator

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid driver’s license
• High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently

Experience / Attributes Preferred:

• Previous experience in auto damage appraising or collision estimating
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems
• Proficient in dealership management software, CRM systems and other automotive software applications
• Guest focused mindset with a commitment to delivery exceptional service and building long-term customer relationships

Tasks:

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess the extent of damage resulting from collisions, accidents or other incidents
• Evaluate the type and severity of damage to vehicle components, including body panels, frame, mechanical and interior features
• Use estimating software and industry knowledge to calculate the cost of repairs based on labor, parts, materials and additional services required
• Interact with guests to explain repair estimate, answer questions and address concerns
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, damage assessments, repair estimates, and customer interactions
• Collaborate with other members of the repair team, including technicians, painters, and administrative staff, to coordinate the repair processes
