Body Shop Manager
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently
Experience / Attributes Preferred:
- Previous experience in Collision management, with a proven track record of leadership and team development
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems
- Excellent leadership, communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence team members to achieve their full potential
- Proficient in dealership management software, CRM systems and other automotive software applications
- Guest focused mindset with a commitment to delivery exceptional service and building long-term customer relationships
Tasks:
- Coordinate Body Shop workflow, scheduling appointments, optimizing technician productivity to maximize efficiency
- Staff management: supervising and coordinating the work of the technicians, estimators, painters, and administrative staff
- Interact with customers to address inquires, concerns, and body shop related issues
- Maintaining and servicing repair equipment to ensure it is in optimal condition
- Set Performance expectations, establish goals and provide regular feedback to team members to drive accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee the inventory of parts, material, and supplies needed for repairs
